Active Minds at State Fair Community College has partnered with DeFeet.Org for our 10th annual 5K walk/run to promote suicide prevention and mental health awareness. This year’s event will be held in the evening, is themed “Glowing in Your Memory,” and will feature neon “You Okay Today?” t-shirts, glow accessories, and a black light photo station. The walk will take place around the SFCC Sedalia campus.

You can wear your black and white “You Okay Today?” t-shirt (the letters will pop in that black light photo station) or wear the neon one provided with your registration. No pre-registration is required; just show up that evening, pay the $20 registration fee, and receive your t-shirt, glow items.

This is not a timed event and therefore no medal are awarded. It is a memorial walk to remember those lost to suicide and raise awareness of suicide prevention and mental health awareness.

*All proceeds will benefit DeFeet.Org. All proceeds stay in Pettis County. All donations are tax-deductible (DeFeet.org is a 501c3 organization.)
